Blackrocklab is a newly found civil engineering laboratory, with close to 10 staff within the group, including Technologists, Technicians, skilled and semi-skilled personnel in South Africa, and its solid experience has given Blackrocklab a desirable reputation for technical excellence in engineering services which include: laboratory testing, materials survey services geotechnics, roads, sewer, surveying and structures. The company is to build its reputation through providing clients with comprehensive, cost effective service and often innovative solutions to their technical needs.

Blackrocklab is partnered with SANAS ACCREDITED laboratory as the mentoring laboratory since we are in the process of being accredited, for all accredited work Blackrocklab has capacity to work with the partner to offer accredited work. However with our great work record and excellence work from the client we worked with we can offer excellence work on our own.

Blackrocklab is a non-accredited laboratory with SANAS ISO17025:2017 certified personnel, which makes it a vision for this laboratory to be fully accredited by SANAS accreditation in 2025. For the quality control of testing Blackrock partnered with accredited laboratories for most of the tests applicable for soils, concrete and asphalt as well as some tests in the geotechnical environment such as shear box tests.
